Part-time Nanny Care near University of Delaware

Looking for a caring, reliable person to help care for our 2-year-old son while Mom works from home.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-1:00 PM (5 hours/day OR 25 hours/week)
*We are flexible with days and can employ multiple people to cover scheduling gaps.
Location: Less than 2 miles from the University of Delaware
Pay: $15-$22/hour, depending on experience

Our son is sweet, active, and enjoys playing, reading, and spending time outside. We're looking for someone who is dependable, attentive, and genuinely enjoys spending time with young children. Occasionally, our kindergartener (daughter) maybe around when school is not in session. We also have a older cat, which you may never see, but good to know if you have allergies.

Mom works from home as a technical business analyst, so a parent will be nearby during the day, we are looking for someone who can independently engage and care for our son during working hours. Mom is bilingual, her primary language is English, and secondary language is Mandarin Chinese.

Responsibilities would include:

* Caring for and playing with our son
* Planning age-appropriate activities
* Preparing simple meals/snacks for him
* Keeping his play area and common areas tidy
* Taking him outside for walks/play when appropriate

Ideal candidate: A non-smoker with childcare experience who is dependable, patient, energetic, and comfortable caring for a 2-year-old. A university student who speaks English OR an international student who speaks Mandarin Chinese looking for a consistent daytime schedule would be a great fit.
